Do Deuce Claims Japan Cup for Record Breaking Jockey Take

In a remarkable display of tactical brilliance, the 5-year-old Do Deuce (Heart’s Cry {Jpn}–Dust and Diamonds, by Vindication) secured victory in the prestigious G1 Japan Cup at Tokyo Racecourse on Sunday. Guided by the seasoned hands of 55-year-old jockey Yutaka Take, Do Deuce unleashed a powerful late burst from the back of the pack to narrowly edge out Shin Emperor (Fr) (Siyouni {Fr}) and Durezza (Jpn) (Duramente {Jpn}), who dead-heated for second.
