Gerri Colombe & Facile Vega Siblings Among Supplementary Entries For Goffs February Sale
 

24 supplementary entries have been added to next week’s Goffs February Sale which will take place from 10am on Wednesday 7 and Thursday 8 February and features quality Flat and National Hunt weanlings, two-year-olds, horses-in-training, stores and breeding stock. 

Highlights of the additional lots include Princess Vega (Lot 431G), a winning daughter of wonder mare Quevega who won four Grade 1 races and was victorious at six consecutive Cheltenham Festivals.  The nine-year-old sister to four-time Grade 1 winner Facile Vega (pictured below) is in foal to Walk In The Park and will be offered by the Irish National Stud.

Leading Cheltenham Gold Cup contender Gerri Colombe (pictured above) has a half-sister Hermione Colombe set to be offered as Lot 431H from Alpha Play Bloodstock.  The seven-year-old by Brave Mansonnien is in foal to Waldgeist.  Other interesting prospects include In Wood (Lot 431J) who is an Authorized half-sister to a Grade 1 winner, as well as Pearl Of The West (Lot 431C) who is a seven-time winner including in a Grade 2 hurdle at the Punchestown Festival. 

The weanling section includes an own sister to Leopardstown Grade 2 hurdle winning mare Ballybawn Belter (Lot 313E), and their sire, the top-rated French stayer Valirann, will also be offered for sale as Lot 431K from Whytemount Stud.
