3 Wild Cards complete the ARQANA Vente d’Élevage catalogue

Three fillies in training have been added to the first part of the ARQANA December Vente d’Élevage as Wild Cards. They will go under the hammer in Deauville on Saturday 9 December in addition to the 250 exceptional mares, fillies and foals already catalogued.

Listed winner KIMI ORENDA will be offered by Haras d’Ombreville as lot 140. A winner at two, the Christophe Ferland-trained filly took the Konrad Werner Wille-Memorial (L.) this summer. The three-year-old daughter of Bated Breath hails from the close family of EMARAATY and ANTHEUS, both Group 1 winners.
Jean-Claude Rouget will offer IZNIK (lot 190), placed three times at Listed level this season as well as having finished fourth in the Prix Penelope (Gr.3). The three-year-old daughter of Zarak with a current rating of 100, is a half-sister to Graded winning jumper UNDER CONTROL and hails from the family of Group 1 winners DALKALA, DAYLAMI, DALAKHANI and DOLNIYA.
Winner on her debut over 1500m at Marseille, the Patrice Cottier-trained SOURCE will be offered as lot 200. The two-year-old daughter of Kingman is a sister to Poker Stakes (Gr.3) and dual Grade 1 placed MASEN. A granddaughter of dual Grade 1 winner and multiple Group winner INTERCONTINENTAL, she hails from the close family of Gr. 1 scorers BANKS HILL, ROMANTICA, BELBEK, CACIQUE, HEAT HAZE, MIRAGE DANCER and CHAMPS ELYSEES.
