ARQANA November Online Sale: discover the first 9 stallion shares and breeding rights catalogued

On Tuesday 28 November from 4-6pm (excluding extra time), ARQANA Online will hold a sale of stallion shares and breeding rights of some of the best European stallions. The first nine lots in the catalogue are now available for viewing online, with entries still open with Marine Moussa (mmoussa@arqana.com - +33 (0)6 58 52 73 42).

 
Leading stallion in France by number of winners in 2023ZARAK has a percentage of 70% winners to runners across all generations. His first two crops have notably produced this season’s Group 1 winner ZAGREY as well as CROWN PRINCESSE, LA PARISIENNE, PURPLEPAY, STRAIGHT & TIMES SQUARE, all placed at the highest level. He has also produced Group winners HAYA ZARK, PARNAC, PRINCESS ZELDA and SHAGARA. A son of the excellent Dubawi out of the exceptional ZARKAVA, the Aga Khan Studs stallion was also a Group 1 winner himself.
 
The share gives right to one covering per year plus an additional covering every even-numbered year, meaning two coverings in 2024 followed by one covering right in 2025, and so on.
 
Leading first crop sire in France by number of winners, the Haras d’Etreham sire has a 47% strike rate. His yearlings have sold for up to €115,000 this year, with a top price at €160,000 at the ARQANA Breeze-Up. A dual Group winner, the son of Siyouni was runner-up in the Diamond Jubilee Stakes and Prix de la Forêt (Gr.1s).
 
The share gives the right to two coverings a year.
 
A son of GalileoGALIWAY has produced winners on the flat and over jumps. He is notably the sire of Gr.1 winners SEALIWAY and SUNWAY on the flat as well as VAUBAN over jumps. He has also produced Group scorers ENGALIWE, RUBIS VANDOME, SHOWAY, ESOPE and KENWAY.
 
Standing at Haras de Collevillethe share the gives right to one covering a year.
 
A son of Kendargent and a winner of Group races over sprint distances at two and three, the Haras de Colleville sire has notably produced two-year-old stakes winners GO ATHLETICO, LIVACHOPE, LOVA, SIVANA and ZORKEN.
 
The share gives the right to two coverings in 2024 then one covering a year thereafter.
 
The winner of the Sprint Cup Stakes (Gr.1) at three and triumphant in the Diamond Jubilee Stakes (Gr.1) at Royal Ascot at four, HELLO YOUMZAIN is considered as one of the best European sprinters. This year, his first yearlings were sold for up to €300,000 and 260,000gns with an average of over €70,000.
 
Standing at Haras d’Etrehamthe share gives the right to two coverings a year.
  
A son of Frankel, that was European Champion Two-Year-Old and World’s Best Racehorse at four following four Group 1 wins, the Darley stallion is the sire of the unbeaten ACE IMPACT, the best three-year-old in the world this year following wins in the Qatar Prix de l’Arc de Triomphe and Prix du Jockey Club (Gr.1s).
 
One covering a year is allocated to this breeding right.
 
An excellent winner of the Prix Jean-Luc Lagardère (Gr.1) at two and Champion Two-Year-Old in FranceSEALIWAY won the Champion Stakes (Gr.1) at Ascot at three beating the Classic winners MISHRIFF, ADAYAR and MAC SWINEY. After retiring to stud at Haras de Beaumont in 2022, he covered more than 160 mares in his first season and will have his first foals in 2024.
 
The share gives the right to two coverings a year in 2024 and 2025, and one covering a year thereafter.
 
A son of Mastercrafsman and winner of the Irish Champion Stakes and Prix du Jockey Club (Gr.1s), THE GREY GATSBY has produced Stakes winners MYLADY, INDIAN WISH, ATOMIC BLONDE and GREY TORNADO, as well as the Listed scorers GREYM, GREUGORIA and FROZEN.
 
Standing at Haras du Petit Tellierthe share gives the right to one covering per year.  
 
A winner of the Qatar Prix Chaudenay (Gr.2) at three, the son of Shamardal hails from one of the best National Hunt stallion families of REEFSCAPE, COASTAL PATH, MARTALINE and BEAT HOLLOW. Standing at Haras du Hoguenet, his first three-year-olds hit the racecourse this year, including DOZADREAM, a winner over hurdles on his debut at Auteuil, and OSE PARTIR, a winner on his debut in France and runner-up on his Irish debut over hurdles.
 
One covering a year is allocated to this breeding right.
