Quality Supplementary Entries Added To Autumn HIT & Yearling Sales

including candidates for Goffs Two Million Series

39 well-related supplementary entries have been added to next week’s Goffs Autumn Yearling Sale (Lots 736 – 774), among which are 21 Lots who are eligible for the Goffs Two Million Series.  This is the last chance for buyers to secure a yearling to compete for a guaranteed minimum prize fund of €2,000,000 in 2024 across the Goffs Million, Goffs 500 and Goffs €50,000 Bonus Series.  The supplementary catalogue also offers an opportunity to purchase a contender for next year’s Harry’s Half Million at York.

The Autumn Yearling Sale takes place on Wednesday 1 and Thursday 2 November and immediately follows the Goffs Autumn Horses In Training Sale which gets underway at 1pm on Tuesday.

22 supplementary entries have been confirmed for the Autumn HIT Sale (Lots 152 – 173), which has been the source of countless winners under both codes in recent years, headed by the Melbourne Cup victory of HIT Sale topper Twilight Payment.  There is plenty more potential available to buyers on Tuesday with significant drafts from HH Aga Khan Studs, Baroda Stud, The Castlebridge Consignment, Peter Nolan Bloodstock and a host of entries from trainers including Johnny Murtagh, Dermot Weld, Willie McCreery, Fozzy Stack, Sheila Lavery, Andy Oliver, Ado McGuinness, Michael Grassick, Denis Hogan, Ross O’Sullivan and John McConnell amongst others.

The Autumn Yearling Sale consistently punches well above its weight in terms of quality and value, with graduates such as Givemethebeatboys who went from a €11,000 Autumn Yearling purchase last year to become the £1.1m Goffs London Sale topper at Kensington Palace in June, while the 2023 Italian Derby winner Goldenas was purchased at this sale for just €23,000.  Laws Of Indices is another who perfectly illustrates this sale’s potential having been picked up for €8,000 as a yearling before going on to Group 1 glory and amassing over €1m in prize money to date.   Another fine example is Group 2 Queen Mary Stakes winner Quick Suzy who was purchased for only €20,000 at Goffs Autumn Yearling Sale.
