October Yearling Sale: 731 colts and fillies to discover!

The second major event for yearlings and a great showcase for French breeding, the October Yearling Sale sees a large number of its graduates excel on the track every year, as witnessed by PADDINGTON‘s exploits in the Irish 2000 Guineas, St James’s Palace Stakes, Coral Eclipse and Sussex Stakes (Gr.1s), as well as IRESINE‘s victory in the Prix Ganay (Gr.1) this season. The 2023 edition of the October Yearling Sale will take place from Tuesday 17 to Saturday 21 October at Deauville. The 731 yearlings catalogued will be offered in the following format:
Part 1:
Tuesday 17 October – 11am – lots 1 to 228
Part 2:
Wednesday 18 October – 2pm – lots 229 to 347
Thursday 19 October – 2pm – lots 348 to 537
Part 3:
Friday 20 October – 2pm – lots 538 to 638
Saturday 21 October – 11am – lots 639 to 731
Now available online at arqana.com, the catalogue offers yearlings by a large number of in-demand sires including Adlerflug, American Pharoah, Australia, Camelot, Churchill, Cracksman, Dark Angel, Frankel, Galiway, Intello, Invincible Spirit, Kingman, Le Havre, Lope De Vega, Mehmas, New Bay, Night Of Thunder, No Nay Never, Oasis Dream, Sea The Moon, Sea The Stars, Showcasing, Siyouni, Starspangledbanner, Wootton Bassett, Zarak etc.

- A son of Kingman out of Group scorer SELENIA (lot 42). Consigned by Haras d’Etreham, the colt hails from the family of Group 1 winners SOQRAT and BUBBLES;

- A half-sister by Sea The Moon to multiple Group winner including in the Grosser Preis von Berlin (Gr.1) this season, SIMCA MILE (lot 63). Consigned by Haras de la Perelle, the filly hails from the excellent family of Classic heroine SARAFINA;
