The last yearling sale for flat breds before the Autumn Sale begins, the November Yearling Sale saw 207 lots go through the ring today. A total of 81% of them were sold, up 9 points from 2020, for an average of €6,332, up 9%. The total turnover stayed stable, amounting to €1,057,500.

Top two lots for Guy Petit

Two yearlings shared the top price honours during the session, with both being knocked down to Guy Petit, who made his presence felt throughout the day. The first to go through the ring was a son of Zelzal (lot 100). Offered by Haras de Bourgeauville, the colt hails from the family of Group 1 winners COCOA BEACH, POSEIDA and CAMPO MARZIO. He was sold for €30,000. 

A little later in the day, it was the turn of a son of Dawn Approach (lot 172) to be knocked down for €30,000 to the agent. Out of Listed winner CRANKY SPANKY, the colt was offered by Haras de Montaigu and is a half-brother to Group winner DESSERTOFLIFE.
