GRAND GLORY, the winner of the Prix Jean Romanet (Gr.1) and third in the Prix de Diane (Gr.1), will go under the hammer at the Vente d’Elevage in Deauville, which will once again this year host a selection of exceptional foals, fillies and mares.
A winner at two, the Gianluca Bietolini-trained filly finished third in the Prix de Diane (Gr.1) the following year behind the incredible CHANNEL, before winning the Prix Zakarva (L.) at four. Having been placed in a number of Group races, she recorded her first victory at this level in the Prix de Flore (Gr.3) the same year.
Placed in the La Coupe (Gr.3) and the Prix Exbury (Gr.3) won by the excellent performer SKALLETI this season, she distinguished herself in the Grand Prix de Vichy (Gr.3) before triumphing in the Prix Jean Romanet (Gr.1) this summer at Deauville. She most recently finished runner-up in the prestigious Prix de l’Opéra (Gr.1), beaten a nose by the very talented ROUGIR. Representing the colours of Albert Frassetto, John d’Amato and Mike Pietrangelo, she is currently rated 117.
