Leading contender for Britannia Stakes added to Goffs London Sale
The Joseph O’Brien trained BELMONT AVENUE, a winner of his only start this season and a leading fancy for the Britannia Stakes at Royal Ascot on Thursday, has been added as a wild card entry to tomorrow’s online Goffs London Sale which takes place live on Goffs.com with a preview show beginning at 12.45pm followed by the sale at 1pm.

An eye-catching winner at Dundalk in April, the three-year-old son of Zoffany was described in the Racing Post as “clearly a nice horse with a good cruising speed and a genuine turn of foot”.   Belmont Avenue (Lot 13) completes a draft of four horses in the sale from O’Brien’s Carriganog Racing.

The London Sale also features high class prospects from Jessica Harrington, Hugo Palmer, John Quinn, Ralph Beckett, Christophe Ferland, Karl Burke and Richard Fahey.

Prospective purchasers wishing to bid online must register in advance of the sale on GoffsOnline.com.  Telephone bidding is also available and can be arranged by contacting Rae Lawless at Goffs raelawless@goffs.ie.

( fonte : Ippomed)
