01/05/2021. (UK) Goffs. More Of The Best: Outstanding Land Rover Sale Catalogue Now Online
| The catalogue for the 2021 Land Rover Sale is now available online and features the strongest collection of individuals and pedigrees to date for Goffs’ flagship National Hunt Sale, headed by no less than 15 siblings to Grade 1 winners including Put The Kettle On, Sir Gerhard, Appreciate It, Paisley Park and Fayonagh.
Part 1 of the Land Rover Sale, extended to two days of equal quality this year, features 429 stores to be offered from 8 – 9 June with a further 188 lots in Part 2 on 10 June. |

| Publication of the catalogue follows another superb season for Land Rover graduates. This sale has topped the tables at the Cheltenham Festival more times over the past decade than any other store sale, and the 2021 Festival was another successful renewal headed by Put The Kettle On in the Queen Mother Champion Chase, Stayers Hurdle winner Flooring Porter, Albert Bartlett Novices Hurdle winner Vanillier and Sir Gerhard in the Weatherbys Champion Bumper.
Land Rover graduate Belfast Banter also won at Cheltenham and subsequently went on to Grade 1 success at Aintree, while other Grade 1 winners from the sale this season include Paisley Park, Sporting John and The Storyteller, along with impressive wins for Cloth Cap in the Ladbrokes Trophy at Newbury and the hugely promising and unbeaten Knappers Hill in the Grade 2 Bumper at Aintree for Paul Nicholls.

| Launching the 2021 catalogue, Goffs Group Chief Executive Henry Beeby commented:
“Following a decade of extraordinary growth, we decided earlier this year to expand Part 1 of the Land Rover Sale in response to the ever-increasing demand from vendors to send more of their best to Goffs. Our selection team of Gerry Hogan, Neil Walsh, Peter Molony and Kevin Ross have worked with those vendors to compile our biggest and best catalogue yet, with no dilution of the quality that has become the hallmark of Goffs Land Rover and allowed it to become the new best.
We are excited to welcome buyers from home and abroad to Kildare Paddocks in June and to present even more of the best stores in Part 1, with a third day of quality in Part 2 completing a catalogue that will appeal to buyers at every level who can find all they need from just one visit to Goffs”.
The Land Rover Sale catalogue features progeny of all the leading National Hunt sires led by Flemensfirth (17), Getaway (29), Milan (36), Mount Nelson (31), Presenting (7), Shantou (16), Soldier Of Fortune (51), Walk In The Park (32) and Yeats (2) among many others. Peter Nolan Bloodstock will offer the largest draft with 44 stores, followed by 35 from Rathmore and a 33-strong lineup from Ballincurrig House Stud.
As ever, all horses offered across the three days are eligible for the €100,000 Goffs Land Rover Bumper at next year’s Punchestown Festival with the unique addition of a new Land Rover Defender going to the winning vendor.
