Super Saturday, as always, lived up to its name.

The highlight? That’s a tricky one but it was hard not to be impressed by the way Barney Roy flew past his rivals in the Jebel Hatta, a race dominated by Godolphin.

Matterhorn romped home and Wildman Jack also impressed with his “insane” performance in the Sprint.

Expect to see that trio play prominent roles at the Dubai World Cup meeting on March 28. We will be back then.

Mickael Barzalona rode the final two winners today to take his Carnival tally to 12 but William Buick, successful on Barney Roy, still leads the way.
