Spun to Run, a 3-year-old son of Hard Spun , completed the two-turn mile on the main track in 1:36.58. Favored Omaha Beach was second followed by longshot Blue Chipper.
Spun to Run, who earned his first grade 1 win in the Dirt Mile, is trained by Juan Carlos Guerrero and jockey Irad Ortiz Jr. was aboard.
