Entries for the Goffs Land Rover Bumper 2020 close tomorrow, Wednesday 4 September. Taking place on Day 1 of next year’s Punchestown Festival, the valuable bumper is open to all horses that were offered for sale at the 2019 Goffs Land Rover Sale, and along with a prize fund of €100,000, the vendor of the winning horse will also take home a new Land Rover Discovery Commercial.

| November Foal Sale graduate Ghaiyyath showed top class form over the weekend when romping home in the Group 1 Grosser Preis von Baden at Baden-Baden, Germany for Godolphin. The 2015 November Foal sale-topper was sold from The Castlebridge Consignment on behalf of his breeders, the Weld family’s Springbank Way Stud to John Ferguson for €1,100,000, the highest priced foal in Europe that year and the top priced colt foal ever in Ireland.
The weekend win is the first Group 1 win for the Dubawi colt, who has never been off the board in seven starts and race record includes a Group 2 win in the Prix d’Harcourt, and multiple Group 3 success.
