It was another highly successful weekend for Land Rover Sale graduates with a trio of Graded wins at Ascot and Haydock on Saturday.

| Altior winning the Grade 1 Matchbook Clarence House Chase |

| The highlight of the day came when Altior landed the Matchbook Clarence House Chase at Ascot to claim an eighth Grade 1 and a 17th straight win for owner Patricia Pugh, looking very much on target as he aims to retain his Champion Chase title at Cheltenham in two months’ time. Altior was purchased from the Land Rover Sale by Highflyer Bloodstock from Kilmoney Cottage Stud for €60,000.
Nicky Henderson and the Highflyer team also enjoyed Grade 2 success at Haydock with another Land Rover purchase as Mister Fisher won the Grade 2 Sky Bet Supreme Trial Rossington Main Novices’ Hurdle. Owned by James and Jean Potter, Mister Fisher was purchased by Highflyer Bloodstock from Ballyallia Stud for €65,000 at the 2017 Land Rover Sale. The promising hurdler is now 12/1 for the Supreme Novices at Cheltenham. |

| Earlier in the day at Ascot the Grade 2 OLBG.com Mares’ Hurdle was won in impressive style by the Jessica Harrington-trained Magic Of Light for the Potts family. A 14-length winner of a Listed Chase at Newbury last time out in December, Magic Of Light was purchased at the Land Rover Sale from Baroda & Colbinstown Stud by Stephen Kemble for €20,000. |
