Italians: Dortmund dedica una giornata a Daniele Porcu, corsa vinta da Marco Casamento. Italiani a Cagnes sur Mer
Per la rubrica italians andiamo un pò a pescare le notizie più fresche ed interessanti. Ieri a Dortmund una intera giornata di corse è stata dedicata a Daniele Porcu, ed in particolare la maggior parte delle corse sono state intitolate ai cavalli famosi che Daniele ha portato al traguardo. Iquitos, Wonnemond, Estejo, Emerald Star etc. Una nel dettaglio era proprio intitolata a lui, la Daniele Porcu-Erinnerungsrennen, terza del pomeriggio, vinta da Marco Casamento in sella a Southern Comfort. In Italia, a parte gli attestati di vicinanza da parte di tutti gli ippodromi, si sta organizzando di concerto con la famiglia una giornata nella quale Daniele sarà opportunamente commemorato. Possibile domenica 4 Marzo a Capannelle, il giorno dopo il 3 Marzo, cioè la data del suo compleanno.
In Francia si comincia a correre invece a Cagnes sur Mer con un pò di italiani presenti in giornata.
In particolare Cristian Demuro che ha chiuso la stagione 2017 in Francia con le vittorie nel Prix du Jockey Club e nelle Poule d’Essai des Poulains in sella a Brametot, ed ha chiuso il sui 2017 in Giappone vincendo in G1 le Hopeful Stakes con Time Flyer ed in generale 29 affermazioni nella stagione nipponica. In Francia il 2017 lo ha visto vincere 91 volte, da li ripartirà, sempre con l’accordo con Gerard Augustin Normand.
Anche Dario Vargiu presente in sella a Slow Down per i Dioscuri e Mr Gardenier per la Antabell della famiglia Luciani. Alessandro Botti sellerà anche Tequilaontherocks. Cristian, de suoi 4 ingaggi in giornata, monterà anche Ankorune in un handicap difficile per Alessandro Botti che ha in corsa anche Shirley Tango con Soumillon. In giornata ingaggi anche per Antonio Orani e Laura Grizzetti.
Sabato mattina a Sha Tin, Umberto Rispoli ha messo a segno la sua 15° vittoria stagionale nel Wah Kwong Ship Management Handicap (Class 3) (3yo+) (Course C+3) (Turf) in sella a Giant Turtle (Zabeel), una corsa da £70,000, per i colori di Joseph Fong Kit Man e Tony Millard al training.
Aste online: A Gennaio la prima asta stile Ebay promossa dalla SGA. Ecco come funziona e come accreditarsi
Come anticipato qualche settimana fa, per la prima volta in Italia si terrà una asta online per la vendita di cavalli al galoppo. Esattamente accadrà per le FATTRICI e CAVALLI OUT OF TRAINING con durata di 2 giorni. L’inizio delle contrattazioni è fissato in Lunedì 29/01 ore 10.00 ed il termine si avrà mercoledì 31/01 ore 14.00.
Il meccanismo è lo stesso di EBAY, il sito più famoso per le aste online. Sarà possibile fare una offerta per le fattrici di interesse e rilanciare ogni qual volta qualcuno farà offerte superiori. Oppure sarà possibile formulare un’offerta massima, non conosciuta da altri se non da chi l’ha formulata, che automaticamente rilancerà le offerte degli “avversari” nel ring virtuale, fino appunto all’offerta massima. Si tratta di una bella novità in fase di messa a punto. Entro le prossime settimane sarà finalmente realtà, e per ora riguarderà solo le fattrici. Quindi se ne avete una da vendere, prendete contatto con gli uffici della SGA. Cose importanti da sapere per chi vuole accreditarsi e comprare per la prima volta:
Nei prossimi giorni su www.sgasales.com comparirà il form “ASTA ONLINE” con l’elenco degli iscritti. Da quel momento in poi ogni cliente interessato potrà accreditarsi cliccando il pulsante “Registrati”. La procedura sarà molto semplice in 3 rapidi step. Basta essere davanti al PC e avere sottomano il telefono cellulare.
- Fase 1. Dovrete inserire il vostro nome e cognome e il vostro indirizzo mail. A questo punto riceverete una mail in cui il sistema vi chiederà il vostro Numero di telefono cellulare.
- Fase 2. Inserite il codice ricevuto via SMS in un campo che a questo punto Vi registrerà.
- Fase 3. Se siete clienti “conosciuti” da SGA Srl il sistema vi riconoscerà e vi abiliterà entro le successive 4 ore. Se siete nuovi clienti e di conseguenza non siete in anagrafica verrete contattati direttamente dalla Segreteria che vi chiederà i dati fiscali per la fatturazione e alcuni documenti da ritornare via Mail o Fax controfirmati per poter essere accreditati e poter accedere al sistema per cliccare sul tasto “BID” nei 3 giorni di asta e fare offerte.
La registrazione e l’accreditamento al sistema Asta Online dovrà essere effettuato entro e non oltre le ore 18.00 del 30 Gennaio… ma vi consigliamo di organizzarvi qualche giorno prima per evitare di non rientrare nei termini temporali per l’abilitazione!

‘He’s another AP without a doubt’ – more praise for Bowen after exceptional ride
He is still only 16 years old but James Bowen was compared to Tony McCoy on Saturday after the teenager followed up his Welsh Grand National triumph with another brilliantly executed ride to win the 32Red Lanzarote Hurdle.
The acclaim for his victory on Raz De Maree at Chepstow a week earlier had barely subsided when the conditional secured another historic prize by partnering topweight William Henry to victory at Kempton.
Bowen’s 5lb claim proved invaluable as he steered the Dai Walters-owned horse to the front between the last two hurdles and after a bold leap at the last drove out William Henry to hold Spiritofthegames by three-quarters of a length, with Red Indian third and Topofthegame fourth.
Bowen does not turn 17 until March and is now only two wins short of reducing his claim to 3lb.
Walters said: “That boy is going to be another AP without a doubt. For a 16-year-old it is unbelievable.”
He said he had even had thoughts about retaining Bowen. “That has been talked about,” he added.
Bowen’s win on William Henry, switched back to hurdles after pulling up on his chasing debut, was his most significant so far for his boss Nicky Henderson, who watched the race from Scotland, where he was getting married.

The jockey said: “I couldn’t do it without Mr Henderson and Dave Roberts my agent and all my family behind me. I didn’t really think I could be riding or even winning these races at the start of the season, but Mr Henderson gives you the opportunity and it’s been amazing.
“I’ve done plenty of schooling with William Henry since his run over fences, when I think he might have scared himself a bit. He’s jumped really well today and there’s no reason why he can’t go over fences again.”
‘It was an exceptional ride’
Henderson’s assistant Toby Lawes said: “Cheltenham last time really just knocked the horse’s confidence. From the start that day it was not going right.
“He showed so much ability over hurdles last season so he came into this on 145 with a brilliant conditional taking 5lb off. James rode exactly as instructed, bang on the rail, and sneaked a way through. It was an exceptional ride.”
He added: “I don’t think we would be put off having another crack over fences at some point.”
The ultra-consistent Spiritofthegames produced another spirited display under Bridget Andrews to continue on his path towards the Cheltenham Festival.
Owner Norman Lake said: “I’m absolutely delighted. He never runs a bad race. He will make a lovely chaser but before that the plan has always been the Coral Cup.”
