As a new sales year begins, we take a look back at some of the many highlights of a remarkable 2017 for Goffs at our sale venues in Kildare, Doncaster, London, Punchestown, Aintree and Leopardstown.

| Reflecting on a year when trade for the Group topped €176 million, Goffs Chief Executive Henry Beeby said:
“2017 was another year of growth and development for Goffs at each of our six locations with highlights at every venue.
Selling the world’s highest priced foal at €1.1 million yet again demonstrates that Goffs is the measure of any auction house anywhere when we have the raw material and we are indebted to so many breeders, vendors and consignors who increasingly choose Goffs for a more of their best horses. A supremely international group of buyers at so many sales, millionaires at Orby, the UK’s highest priced HIT in London yet again, an amazing Land Rover and December NH Sale were further highlights in Ireland whilst Goffs UK’s results at Premier, Breeze-Up, Spring (for both HIT and Stores), and Aintree also point to an approach and service that is appealing to a growing number of industry professionals.
Indeed, the common theme at all our sales, regardless of location is a standard of service and insistence on the highest integrity that has been the hallmark of Goffs since 1866. It doesn’t matter where we are selling or which member of the Goffs team is in action, our terms of business are identical.
