The countdown is on to the Goffs December National Hunt Sale which gets underway a week today.  555 lots will be offered next Wednesday 13th and Thursday 14th December, consisting largely of foals with a selection of quality yearlings, two year olds, breeding stock and older horses also featured.

In today’s preview the focus is on foals.  This year’s December catalogue boasts outstanding quality with close relations to the likes of Bobs Worth, Altior, Glens Melody, Oscar Whisky, The New One, One Track Mind, At Fishers Cross, The Liquidator, Imperial Commander, Gods Own, Fayonagh and many more stars of National Hunt racing on offer.  A rich source of success for pinhookers at the store sales as well as end-users, December foal purchasers frequently reappear in the the top tiers of the store sales, while graduates this year were headed by the multiple Grade 1 winner Finian’s Oscar.
