The star of the show is undoubtedly Minding. Can she be beaten?

Four big questions for day five at Goodwood
Will Minding’s incredible season continue?
The star attraction today and arguably of the entire week is the wonderful Minding, a filly as tough and resilient as she is remarkably talented.
She has won the 1,000 Guineas at Newmarket, the Oaks at Epsom and the Pretty Polly Stakes at the Curragh, five Group 1s in total and has drawn the kind of descriptions from Aidan O’Brien that make you know she must be special.
Next up is the Nassau Stakes and surely she will make it six Group 1s. Only four rivals have dared face her, among them Swiss Range, who may not be in her class but is intriguing trying to get back on track.
Is there another three-year-old star?
Last year’s Stewards’ Cup went the way of the then three-year-old Magical Memory and connections of two runners in today’s renewal will be hoping history repeats itself.
Raucous was a promising third behind Ribchester two starts ago, form that took a sizeable boost when that horse flashed home to finish a close third in Wednesday’s pulsating Group 1 Sussex Stakes.
And then there’s Dancing Star, much the shorter price and who came sliding under the door as it was closing to claim the final spot in the field.
Many punters would be thrilled should he win but so would trainer Andrew Balding, for more sentimental reasons. Dancing Star hails from the family of the 1992 winner Lochsong, trained by Balding’s father Ian.
What is lurking in the maiden?
At 4.20, a total of 14 runners will line up for a maiden won two years ago by Dutch Connection, who returned to take the Lennox Stakes earlier this week.
Is there a future Qatar Goodwood festival star among this year’s field?
Who will take the top jockey title?
James Doyle looked in pole position after the day’s play on Wednesday as he bagged four wins from the opening two days. However in a dramatic reversal of fortune he has been devoid of a winner since.
Meanwhile, Ryan Moore has hit top form with a treble on Friday putting him into the lead with six wins and is hot favourite to wrap it up on Saturday.
Moore rides three favourites on the final day, including odds-on fancies Minding in the Nassau Stakes and Lockheed in the maiden at 4.20. Victory in both of these would surely secure the top jockey title.
