Marco Botti: has taken over the training of Dylan Mouth this season

Dylan Mouth returns home for Marco Botti
Preview: Italy, Sunday 3.15pm BST
San Siro: Gran Premio di Milano (Group 2) 1m4f, turf, 4yo+
MARCO BOTTI and Frankie Dettori join forces as Dylan Mouth heads a field of seven for a race carrying €192,500 in
prize-money.

Until this year Dylan Mouth was trained by Marco’s brother Stefano but has been moved to Newmarket in a bid to give him the best preparation to win a British Group race.
However, that quest begins with a return to Italy and the 2014 Derby Italiano winner has been found a golden opportunity to start his season on a winning note.
Botti said: “He is fit and well and ready to run. He had a good racecourse gallop at Newmarket last week and looks to be spot on for this race.
“I am delighted with the way he is training and he has settled into the routine so well at Prestige Place.”
The most likely opponent to scupper that plan is Circus Couture(Stefano Botti/Fabio Branca) who is in the same ownership as Dylan Mouth but yet to race beyond ten furlongs.
Also on Sunday
San Siro: Oaks d’Italia (Group 2) 1m3f, turf, 3yo fillies (5.15pm BST)
Champion trainer Stefano Botti could finish no closer than second with six runners in last Sunday’s Italian Derby and tries to go one better in this by saddling seven of the 14-strong field.
Pick of his team is the unbeaten Cassina De Pomm (Andrea Atzeni), the top juvenile filly last year after winning the Group 3 Premio Dormello at this track and successful from Miss Steff(Stefano Botti/Umberto Rispoli) on her seasonal return at the end of March.
Botti also saddles Italian 1,000 Guineas winner Conselice (Silvano Mulas), winner of her last four starts but not guaranteed to see out this longer trip.
Frankie Dettori teams up with trainer Endo Botti (Stefano’s cousin) to partner Responsibleforlove, a leading contender who’s bred to relish the step up from ten furlongs over which she was a decisive winner of a traditional Oaks trial.
San Siro: Premio Carlo Vittadini (Group 3) 1m, turf, 3yo+ (3.50pm BST)
Dettori partners Azari (Il Cavallo In Testa), runner-up in last season’s Italian 2,000 Guineas and back to form when successful under 9st 8lb in a valuable handicap on this track last month.
However, he faces two particularly tough rivals in this eight-runner contest - Azzeccagarbugli (Stefano Botti/Andrea Atzeni), who makes his seasonal return after winning four of his last five two-year-old races, and Kaspersky (Endo Botti/Umberto Rispoli), unbeaten in three starts this season before turning in a below-par effort when fifth in a Rome Group 2 earlier this month over a slightly longer trip.
