VENERDÌ 11 DICEMBRE 2015 Hong Kong, ecco i partenti ufficiali del Vase, Cup, Sprint e Mile. Sorteggiati gli steccati per le International Races del 13..

 
 
 
 
Anche ad Oriente, si sono materializzati i partenti ufficiali delle prove internazionali di domenica mattina a Sha Tin, Hong Kong. L’orario delle international races è fissato per le 7,00 ora italiana per il Vase, poi 7,40 per lo Sprint, 8,50 per il Mile, e 9,30 per la Hong Kong Cup.
 
Le uniche variazioni sul tema riguardano il forfait della tedesca Lovelyn (Tiger Hill), vincitrice di Oaks e Jockey Club G1, che non sarà della partita causa zoppia. Un peccato vero, sarebbe stato interessante valutare le nostre linee. Pazienza. Al suo posto, nel Vase, ci sarà la riserva Harbour Master. 
 
Sempre più favorito comunque il vecchio giramondo Flintshire (Dansili), della corsa saranno anche gli altri europei Cannock Chase (Lemon Drop Kid), Cirrus Des Aigles (Even Top), Highland Reel (Galileo), Ming Dinasty(King’s Best) con Umbertino Rispoli in sella e Dariyan (Shamardal) per l’Aga Khan. L’opposizione locale è capeggiata da Preferment (Zabeel), australiano di Chris Waller. Degli Honkkongesi atteso Dominant (Cacique), per John Moore, ma in parte europeo.IL CAMPO PARTENTI DEL VASE QUI.
 
Lo Sprint sarà soprattutto un affare locale. Sono in 14 al via, il favorito sarà l’eroe locale Gold Fun (Le Vie Dei Colori). Degli europei ecco il vecchioSole Power (Kyllachy)m mentre gli americani ne mettono dentro tanti capeggiati dalla star della Breeders Mongolian Saturday (Any Given Saturday), vincitore del Turf Sprint, e Green Mask (Mizzen Mast) per Wesley Ward. Gli altri attesi sono i locali Peniaphobia (Dandy Man), la giapponese Straight Girl (Fuji Kiseki) con Keita Tosaki a bordo, poi Mikki Isle (Deep Impact). IL CAMPO PARTENTI DELLO SPRINT QUI.
 
Il Mile è una bellissima corsa con tutti i migliori al via. Favoritissimo è il locale Able Friend (Shamardal), male ad Ascot ma efficacissimo in patria. Contro ci sono i primi due del Mile Championship giapponese Maurice (Screen Hero) con Ryan Moore, e Fiero (Deep Impact) con Mirco Demuro a bordo. Poi ecco Mondialiste (Galileo), Toormore (Arakan) per Godolphin, Red Dubawi (Dubawi) vincitore del Di Capua G1 a San Siro, e la franceseEsoterique (Danehill Dancer), e la rivelazione locale Beauty Flame (Footstepsinthesand). Insomma, un bel miscuglio di forme. IL CAMPO PARTENTI DEL MILE QUI.
 
Nella Hong Kong Cup scelte sottilissime. Innanzitutto Free Eagle (High Chaparral), il favorito all’ultima corsa della carriera prima dell’ingresso in razza all’Irish National Stud, partirà con lo steccato 9. Tra i più attesi ci sono i campionissimi locali Designs Of Rome (Holy Roman Emperor) e Military Attack (Oratorio), ritrovatosi ultimamente. Poi Blazing Speed (Dylan Thomas), il giapponese Nuovo Record (Heart’s Cry) con Ryan Moore nel motore, e l’ex italiano Beauty Only (Holy Roman Emperor), allevato dalla famiglia Parri. Molto attesi i giapponesi, occhio a Staphanos (Deep Impact), recentemente secondo do Lovely Day nel Tenno Sho, linee da Japan Cup un pò fragile a dire la verità, quest’anno. Hong Kong Vase (Groupe 1) : France VS le reste du Monde

Depuis sa création en 1994, le Hong Kong Vase (Groupe 1) est revenu dix fois à un cheval entraîné en France. Cette année, il y a quatre tricolores au départ et ils ont tous les moyens de bien faire :

  • Flintshire est le tenant du titre et il s’est une nouvelle fois montré irréprochable cette année ;
  • Cirrus des Aigles a rarement été très percutant à Hong Kong, mais la pluie qui est tombée cette semaine renforce ces chances pour son 6e essai à Hong Kong, le 2e dans le « Vase » ;
  • Ming Dynasty a gagné en bon cheval le Prix du Conseil de Paris (Groupe 2) et il prend part dimanche à son premier Groupe 1 ;
  • Dariyan n’a plus été revu depuis le mois d’août et sa 2e place dans le Prix Guillaume d’Ornano(Groupe 2) derrière New Bay. Lui aussi se présente dans son premier Groupe 1 et son notera que sa mère, Daryakana, avait gagné le « Vase » en 2009.

Hong Kong Mile (Groupe 1) : Esoterique face à la star locale Able Friend

Double gagnante de Groupe 1 cette année,Esoterique tente de finir sa saison en beauté dans ce Hong Kong Mile (Groupe 1). La pensionnaire d’André Fabre trouvera à qui parler, puisqu’elle aura sur sa route la star locale du mile, Able Friend. Il ne faut pas tenir compte de la prestation de ce dernier à Royal Ascot – où il a été nettement battu par Solow-, car Able Friend était alors sur la pente descendante au niveau de sa forme, la saison  à Hong Kong se terminant. Dernièrement, pour sa 2e course de rentrée, Able Friend a été battu, mais sa tentative était très correcte. Le « grand Able Friend » s’annonce dur à déloger sur ses terres.

Autre attraction dans ce Groupe 1 : le japonais, Maurice, qui vient de remporter le Mile Championship(Groupe 1) à Kyoto

Hong Kong Cup (Groupe 1) : Free Port Lux et Gailo Chop portent les espoirs français

Deux français portent les espoirs tricolores dans la Hong Kong Cup (Groupe 1) : Gailo Chop et Free Port Lux. Des deux, la préférence va forcément à Gailo Chop, qui vient d’enlever son premier Groupe 1 le 31 octobre enAustralie. Plutôt inconstant, Free Port Lux a surpris en s’imposant la veille de l’Arc dans leQatar Prix Dollar (Groupe 2). Jusqu’à présent, il lui a manqué le petit « truc » pour briller au niveau Groupe 1. Sa tâche n’est pas évidente dans ce lot, mais comme Gailo Chop, il est en forme.

Gailo Chop et Free Port Lux devront notamment devancer le local Military Attack, 2e de ce Groupe 1 l’an dernier, Critérion, l’un des meilleurs australiens sur 2.000m, et Free Eagle, 6e de « l’Arc » (Groupe 1) sur une distance un poil trop longue pour lui.
