William Hill are also intent on taking on Bolger’s horse and will go 6-4 from Saturday morning.
Ladbrokes will offer the 7-4 for an initial 15 minutes from 8.15am to a maximum stake of £50.
The easing of Dawn Approach’s price began on Friday afternoon and he is now 11-8 with three firms: Sportingbet, BetVictor and Paddy Power.
BetVictor spokesman Charlie McCann said: “We are convinced the colt won’t stay the Derby trip despite his sire [New Approach] winning the corresponding event in 2008 and have pushed Jim Bolger’s colt out to 11-8 from 5-4 earlier today.”
Bolger himself was on Friday relaxed about the colt’s chances of staying the Derby trip, offering a typically laid-back assessment of the champion colt’s wellbeing on the eve of the race.
“He is very well and the ground drying out is good news. He did his final piece of work on Tuesday and we were very happy with him,” he said.
“Dawn Approach is what he is and it will be his relaxed manner and class that will see him get the trip, if that is to happen. We’ll find that out soon enough.”
The going at Epsom was changed on Friday evening to good to soft, good in places and clerk of the course Andrew Cooper said drying conditions would continue into Saturday.
He said: “I’ve just walked the entire Derby course after the last today and the GoingStick returned 7.1, compared to 6.7 earlier.
“We will review it again in the morning, but we are expecting a dry night and a drying day tomorrow, perhaps not as warm as today, but it is slowly improving and I could see us calling it good, or at the very least on the slow side of good, at some point tomorrow.”
