ARF Chairman Winfried Engelbrecht-Bresges, who is also the CEO of The Hong Kong Jockey Club, will kick off the first session of the 40th Asian Racing Conference Business Programme with an opening keynote that provides an update on key post-pandemic trends in racing and breeding, and explores the most pressing issues facing the industry today.

Winfried will then be joined by racing leaders – including Masayuki Goto, ARF Vice-Chairman and Executive Advisor to the Japan Racing Association; Suzanne Eade, Chief Executive of Horse Racing Ireland; Peter V’landys, CEO of Racing NSW; Drew Fleming, CEO of Breeders’ Cup; and Joe Saumarez Smith, Chair of the British Horseracing Authority – in an engaging panel discussion, which will set the scene for further insightful dialogue over the course of the Conference.
