In The Know with Coral | Can Baaeed bow out with a perfect record on British Champions Day?

The Flat season comes to a close this weekend as Ascot plays host once again to British Champions Day.

Many of the standout stars of the campaign are expected to make an appearance, including the brilliant Baaeed, who bids to extend his unbeaten run to 11 and provide William Haggas with a sizeable chunk of prize-money.

Perhaps his biggest competition in his final outing is the Charlie Appleby-trained star Adayar, who has shown massive promise and breezed home after a lengthy layoff at Doncaster recently.

Elsewhere on the card, Trueshan looks to take full advantage of Kyprios’ absence as well as Stradivarius’ retirement after her recent victory in the Prix Jacques Le Marois, she currently heads the betting at Ascot.

To break down all the day’s races we have regular host Ross Brierly, as well as our expert panel with Racing Post top tipsters Paul Kealy, Tom Segal and Coral’s own Simon Clare.

Make sure you tune in to our preview show to get all of our tipsters’ picks for the big day and all of the usual insight and big-race discussion.

Join us for the show at 6pm on Friday, October 14 on the Racing Post YouTube channel.
