Along with Ghaiyyath, four-time Group 1 winner Alcohol Free was also purchased as a foal to race by her owner, while November Foals proved profitable for so many pinhookers at the Orby Sale, headed by Pier House Stud’s Ten Sovereigns colt that sold to Jacob West for €500,000 having been purchased for €130,000 last November. Commenting on publication of the catalogue, Goffs Group Chief Executive Henry Beeby said: “Goffs is the gateway to the world for Irish breeders and we are extremely grateful that the overwhelming majority send their best foals to the November Sale. Ireland’s National Foal Sale consistently proves to be the preferred choice for most pinhookers and so many end users, both of whom have enjoyed so many successes year after year. We are proud to present a truly world class catalogue packed full of outstanding foals with the credentials on paper and conformation to appeal to every major buyer at every level seeking their next pinhooking success story or Group 1 glory”. Goffs November Foal Sale 2022 will follow the same successful format as 2021, with foals catalogued alphabetically by dam each day from Monday to Thursday inclusive. With strength and depth at all levels of the market, Monday and Thursday are billed as equal, Tuesday will raise the bar to an extent, and Wednesday will feature the most Black Type pedigrees. Selling begins at 10am each day.
