Girls, it’s time to treat yourselves to a little weekday outing with the infamous Lindauer Ladies’ Lunch returning to Pukekohe Park on Wednesday 22 June.
With fabulous all-day company, a winter fashion competition, the chance to win a prize from DoubleTree by Hilton Karaka, great racing, a delicious buffet lunch and a panel of talented women to hear from – we’re struggling to think of any better way to spend “hump day”.
Tickets are $90pp (discounts apply for table bookings and club members) and are already close to selling out… so you’ll need to get the girls together ASAP if you want to join us.
Attendees at the Lindauer Ladies’ Lunch will get to enjoy the newest member of the award-winning Special Reserve family - Lindauer Prosecco.
Northern Racing Is Getting An Epic Winter Warm Up
Collaboration between our club, Waikato and Whangarei racing clubs has seen the creation of a new racing initiative launching this season – the ITM/GIB Northern Region Winter Championships.
A celebration of winter flat racing, the Championships will see $300,000 in stakes be distributed among the five Championship Finals, with each worth $60,000.
The first of the qualifying races kick off this weekend at Te Rapa so there’s no time like the present to click the button below to learn more.

Enter….the Auckland Futurity Stakes Lunch.

The Race To Racing’s Big Fash’ Sash Is On
After a domestic competition season filled with enough hats to stock a warehouse, hundreds of metres of fabrics and many miles travelled or photos taken by would-be qualifiers, The Ned Prix de Fashion - the national fashions in the field final – is finally here and we are HERE FOR IT.
Not only will our Supreme Winner receive that coveted sash, they’ll also take home an incredible $20,000+ “winner-takes-all” prize package courtesy of The Ned and the Victoria Racing Club.
The Finest Of Finalists
The finalists (some of whom are pictured above) now have just one week remaining to submit their entry (this year’s competition is again virtual) before their submitted looks, the five Grand Finalists and eventual Supreme Winner get announced in the days following.
Ahead of the big reveals, we’re asking the finalists a few questions to learn more about them, their racing fashion journey and what we might expect from their Prix de Fashion look.
More interviews will be released in the days to come so ensure to check back into the blog.
We’re Low-Key Obsessed With The Judges…
One perk of the competition’s virtual format is that we can include judges from across the Tasman meaning the panel, announced earlier this week, is stacked with racewear experts.
With two Myer Fashions on the Field winners, a Flemington Millinery Award winner and perhaps New Zealand’s most successful ex-pat milliner (as well as some pretty stylish racey ladies), the panel has all the credentials you’d want to see in a national racewear final.
