Both Dolniya and Baino Hope will go instead for the Prix Foy later on the card, while Tapestry and Covert Love failed to feature among those remaining.
Arabian Queen, Beautiful Romance and Diamonsdandrubies are the only surviving challengers from Britain and Ireland in the Vermeille. Highland Reel and John F Kennedy were both taken out of the Prix Niel, leaving Ol’ Man River as Aidan O’Brien’s sole representative among nine possibles.
All four Ballydoyle entries, including Gleneagles, were absent from the list of 12 remaining candidates for the Prix du Moulin.
Lightning Spear was also taken out leaving the Peter Chapple-Hyam-trained Arod to fly the flag for Qatar Racing.
The other two British-trained entries for the Moulin are Time Test and Dutch Connection.
