Golden Horn: set to be supplemented for the Investec Derby next week

INVESTEC Derby favourite Golden Horn will be reunited with Frankie Dettori in his spin around Epsom at Tuesday’s Breakfast with the Stars event, in which he will be led by Dick Doughtywylie.
Jack Hobbs, in whom a part-share has been sold to Godolphin since he chased home his stablemate in the Betfred Dante Stakes at York, will be partnered for the first time by William Buick in his exercise with Marzocco.

Gosden also plans to take his two Investec Oaks contenders, Group 2 Musidora Stakes winner Star Of Seville and Jazzi Top, winner of the Listed Pretty Polly Stakes, to work together at the track.
Gosden, who trained Benny The Dip to win the 1997 Derby and Taghrooda to win last year’s Oaks, said: “We intend taking all four of our Epsom entries to Breakfast with the Stars to give them some experience of the track at an event we like to support.
“Frankie will be on Golden Horn and William will ride Jack Hobbs.”
Golden Horn is the general 2-1 favourite for the Derby and he is set to be supplemented next Monday for the race at a cost of £75,000 by owner/breeder Anthony Oppenheimer.
