Variety Club, the dual South African horse of the year and now winner of the prestigious Godolphin Mile, will likely be aimed at the Hong Kong Champions Mile in April with new trainer Mike De Kock.

During the press conference after the event, racing manager for the Jooste Family, Derek Brugman, suggested that all races will be considered going forward with the Hong Kong race the likely next start for the ambitious new world star.

The son of Var may also target other races in Japan, Europe and even the Breeders’ Cup according to Brugman.
